Basic School Teachers Training Course (BSTC)

The Mewar Education Society, Chittorgarh runs a Teacher's Training College. A two year BSTC course is being run from the academic year 2006-2007 and recognized by the NCTE and approved by the Govt. of Rajasthan.

A BSTC trained teacher is eligible for teaching in Primary schools in the state. BSTC training is a must for appointment of teachers in the Primary School in the state of Rajasthan .A BSTC trained person can have job opportunities in government and private sector schools also.

BSTC training is an exhaustive training. A trainee has to study 15 compulsory papers which include all aspects of primary education . A trainee gets theoretical as well as practical knowledge in the field of child education.

 Duration of the Training  Two Years
 Minimum Qualification  Passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 Examination
 Admission Procedure

 On the Basis of Merit in the criteria fixed for admission by  Directorate of Primary Education, at State Level.

In the state of Rajasthan thousands of schools are being opened every year in Government and Private sectors. At present schools are facing a great problem due to shortage of Primary trained teachers, so there are great opportunities of getting the job as a teacher. Even trained personnel can avail job opportunities abroad also.

Knowing the importance of English Language and its varied functions, the institute has set up a separate department of 'Language Proficiency and Personality Development' every trainee who joins this institute is benefited by this department.

Faculty:- The College has a qualified and well experienced faculty of Education with a repartee Incharge of this BSTC course.

Hostel Facility:- The institute runs a well furnished hostel with a capacity of 100 boarders. Canteen Mess, General store and S.T.D. facilities are also available in the premises.
